14-year-old girl shot in West Baltimore

Baltimore police are investigating a shooting that left a 14-year-old girl injured Friday night.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. police were dispatched to 2100 block of Wallbrook Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival police discovered a 14-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital.

Citywide Shooting detectives were called to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
