On Saturday, July 9 at approximately 11:58 p.m. Anne Arundel County police found two deceased males in the 7600 block of Sandy Farm Road.
One of the victims, identified by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as 42-year-old Duwayne Thomas Mason of the 4000 block of Blue Wing Court, Columbia, Md. was located inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds. Mason had forced his way inside the residence through a window. He was transported to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
The second victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds inside a white pickup truck a short distance from the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Timothy John Kerr, 40, from the 3000 block of Hollands Cliffs Road, Huntingtown, Md.

Police searched the location of the shooting and found the following controlled substances: suspected crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, amphetamine dextroamphetamine pills, alprazolam pills, suboxone film strips and heroin. Police also recovered a digital scale, $6,140 and a loaded 12 gauge Mossberg shotgun.
John Matthew Garrison, 52, who resided at the residence in the 7600 block of Sandy Farm Road was charged with several drug-related charges.
