Two suspects arrested for cab robbery

Police have made two arrests following the armed robbery of a cab driver on April 30. 

Leslie Broadway, 19, of Severn, Md., was arrested on May 2 and charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, and ten other charges. He is being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center. On May 5, police arrested Myriah Adams, 22, of Glen Burnie, Md.. She was charged with armed robbery and eleven related charges. 

Police investigated an incident that occurred around 4:11 p.m. on April 30. A cab driver said he picked up two men for fares when one man produced a hand gun and demanded money from the driver. He drove the pair to the 700 block of Newtowne Drive in Annapolis, Md. and attempted to lock the suspects inside the car. The suspects fled the cab while it was in motion, firing a round back at the cab that hit the car but not the driver.
