Teens pull 'smash and grab' theft at Hanover jewelry store

MILLERSVILLE, Md. — Between $10,000 and $20,00 worth of jewelry was stolen in a “smash and grab” rtheft Monday in Hanover, Anne Arundel County Police said.

Officers responded to the Grand Jewelry at 7000 Arundel Mills Circle at about 2:30 p.m. for the reported theft, police said. Two male teens, about 16 or 17 years old, entered the business, police said. One smashed the glass jewelry counter with a heavy object, while the other grabbed jewelry.
