A 15-year-old was charged after he brought a gun to an Annapolis high school Friday.

Police said around 12:45 p.m. an administrator at Broadneck High School notified a School Resource Officer that a student had a gun in his book bag. The administrator said that while talking to the student in a school office, a gun was discovered in the teen’s bag.

An officer responded and found a loaded .40 caliber glock handgun.  The student was arrested without incident and charged as a juvenile.

The student, who has not been identified, was released to his parents.
