Stolen weed eater, handgun, and drugs found during Shady Side bust

Three people were arrested after a wide variety of stolen items and different drugs were recovered from a Shady Side home. 

Last week, the Southern District Tactical Narcotics Team got information about drug activity at a home in the 5200 block of Nick Road. 

With the assistance of the Anne Arundel County Quick Response Team, both executed a search warrant at the house and seized the following items:

  • 11.79 g Heroin
  • .42 g Unknown Prescription (3 pills)
  • .12 g Xanax (1/4 pill)
  • 60.10 g Phencyclidine “PCP” (including weight of two glass containers) 
  • 6.93 g Oxycodone (51 pills)
  • SigPro .40 Cal. Handgun (Recovered stolen out of Calvert County)
  • Stihl Weedeater (Recovered stolen out of Edgewater)
  • CDS Paraphernalia 

Following the bust, John Marshall Simms, Kimberly Crystal Simms, and Kristina Marie Demoucelle are all facing multiple drug-related charges.
