Anne Arundel County police are searching for two or three suspects they believe are responsible for a Monday night shooting in Brooklyn Park.
Police responded to the 250 block of Edgevale Road just before 9 p.m. They found a 41-year-old woman that had been shot and learned a 14-year-old boy had also been shot. The preliminary investigation revealed a group of men approached another group and began shooting at them.
"This is certainly a situation where the neighborhood doesn't need to be in any type of fear," said Ryan Frashure, a police spokesperson. "This wasn't some random act. These were individuals that are known to each other and it's a result of an ongoing feud."
The 14-year-old is expected to recover. Detectives are still investigating the incident.
