Police investigate two armed robberies in Anne Arundel County

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating two armed robberies early Wednesday.

At about 12:17 a.m., officers responded to reports of a robbery at an Exxon at 2459 Mountain Road in Pasadena. A store clerk said three suspects entered the business and announced a robbery, with one suspect displaying a handgun. The suspects took money and fled the store. No one was injured.

A few hours later, at about 2:55 a.m., police received reports of an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven at 705 Greenway Road in Glen Burnie. A store employee said three people came into the store, with one displaying a handgun. The employee did not comply with the robbers’ demands, and all three attempted robbers fled. Nothing was stolen and no one was injured.
