An arrest has been made in the April 10, 2017 robbery of a BB&T in Annapolis.

Police say James Joyce, 36, was arrested and charged Friday for bank robbery of the BB&T located at 101 Hillsmere Drive.

Annapolis Police would like to commend the public for their help in identifying the suspect.

"This arrest is an excellent example of how important it is to have an ongoing relationship between the department and the community, benefiting both our officers and our residents," Mayor Michael Pantelides said.

Joyce is currently being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
