Anne Arundel County Police arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with a shooting at a Crownsville party last month.

On June 26 at 1:44 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Shore View Circle to investigate a shooting.

The victim told police they’d been shot by an acquaintance at an area party. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses at the party identified the shooting suspect as 20-year-old Nathaniel David Brewsaugh. A search warrant was executed in the 1100 block of Annis Squam Harbour in Pasadena, where detectives found two firearms at the location.

Brewsaugh was arrested and taken to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center. He’s currently awaiting trial after being held without bond.

Brewsaugh was charged with attempted first and second degree murder, assault, reckless endangerment and several gun charges.
