Persons of interest wanted for carjacking, shooting in Laurel

LAUREL, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police need the public's help to identify four persons of interests they say are linked to a carjacking and shooting that happened on May 15.

Police say the incident happened on the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road, at about 7:30 p.m.

The victim of the carjacking told police that he left his gray 2005 Mitsubishi Galant running in the parking lot of the Garden Inn when four teens, two boys and two girls, approached his car and drove off in it.

It was then reported that the three remaining teens got into a fight with someone in a red car nearby, and one of them fired several gunshots at the car before it fled the scene.
