Packages were stolen from two Annapolis homes over the past two days, and Annapolis Police have identified one suspect.

Police said a package containing clothing was stolen after it was delivered by FedEx in the unit block of Ashford Court. The theft happened between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.  About 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to that street for a report of a woman banging on doors in the area.

Officers located Jennifer Byrd, 33, of Annapolis and arrested her for an open warrant.  Byrd had men's clothing with the tags still attached on her at that time.  Officers discovered it was the clothing from the stolen package, and a criminal summons for theft was issued for Byrd.

Another package was stolen from the 300 block of Rogers Heights Road between Tuesday and Thursday. That package also contained clothing, and it was delivered by UPS.
