BALTIMORE — A man was beaten by a group of teens after failing to give them money at a Glen Burnie gas station, Anne Arundel County Police said.

Officers responded to the station in the 500 block of Crain Highway at about 6:45 p.m., where a man said he was approached by three male teenagers who asked him for a dollar. The man said he didn’t have a dollar, at which point the teenagers said they would “break the victim’s jaw,” if he didn’t give them any money, police said.

When the man refused again to give the teens money, they proceeded to attack him. After the assault, the teens fled the scene. The man suffered minor injuries, police said.

Northern District Detectives are handling the investigation and are asking anyone with any information to call 410-222-6135 or to use the county tippling at 410-222-4700.
