Intruder alarms activated at four Route 3 businesses

Police responded to a series of four intruder alarms at businesses along Route 3 between Crofton, Md. and Gambrills, Md.. 

Between 3:20 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., entry was made into four properties, investigators said.

The AT&T store at 1407 Main Chapel Way in Gambrills had it's front door pried open. The owners had not yet determined if anything was stolen.

The front door was also pried open at the Wendy's at 1064 Route 3 in Crofton. A cash box was tampered with, but it is unknown if anything was stolen.

An ATM was stolen after the front door was pried open at the Big Fish Grill at 1260 Route 3 in Crofton. 

The front door was pried open and an ATM was stolen from the Fat Boy's Crab Shack at 1651 Route 3 in Crofton as well. 

The incidents are being investigated as related.
