PASADENA, Md. — A homeowner who shot and killed someone who allegedly threatened him has been arrested.
On Thursday, Anne Arundel County Police announced charges against 40-year-old Gregory Korwek.
The day before, Korwek called 911 to report that 44-year-old Jeffrey Dickinson was threatening him and was on his way to Korwek's Pasadena home.
When officer's arrived to the home on Orr Court, Korwek ran up to them and told them he'd shot Dickinson.
Medics pronounced Dickinson dead on scene in Korwek's driveway.
After multiple search warrants and interviews, investigators found Korwek was prohibited from having a gun due to a past felony conviction.
For that, police took him into custody where he is being held without bail.
Detectives are continuing to gather more information on the shooting of Dickinson to determine if Korwek should be charged with murder.
