Members of the Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force arrested Robert Simpson for possession of fentanyl pills after a search of his home.
According to police, the search took place around 5:00 am Wednesday. The warrant was a result of an investigation into narcotics trafficking from the residence.
Detectives found 6,296 fentanyl pills disguised as oxycodone pills, about $8,000 in cash, computer equipment and more.
Police say that Simpson was arrested and charged.
