95-year-old woman back at work after being robbed at gunpoint in Pasadena

MILLERSVILLE, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police said a 95-year-old woman is back to work after being robbed by two armed men in Pasadena.

Officers responded to the 9000 block of Fort Smallwood Road for a reported robbery at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday.

There, the elderly woman said she was getting home from work when two men approached her and displayed handguns. They followed her into her residence and removed “a large amount of cash and other valuables,” police said. The suspects then fled on foot. The woman was not injured in the incident.

Police searched the area with the assistance of a K-9 unit, but the robbers were not found.

Just 12 hours after that incident, the woman was back at work tending bar. She's turning 96 next month.
