Baltimore man arrested for attempting to rob Glen Burnie food truck

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A 30-year-old man was arrested Thursday evening for attempting to rob a food truck.

At around 6:30 p.m., officers arrived to the Taqueria Los Jarochos Food Truck, which was located at 7212 Ritchie Highway, for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers found an intoxicated man leaning on the door of the food truck.

While he was being escorted away by police officers, the man, who has been identified as Dwayne G. Drake, of the 8000 block of Lyndhurst Street, became disorderly and belligerent.

Witnesses told officers that Drake approached the back door of the truck and began pulling on the handle aggressively and yelling for the employees to let him in.

When they refused to do that, Drake walk to the front window and continued to yell and scream for them to let him. No one knew who he was, so the cops were called.

Drake, who was transported to Northern District for processing, is being charged with the following:

  • Burglary - Second degree- General
  • Burglary - Third degree
  • Burglary - Fourth Degree - Store
  • Disorderly Conduct
