Anne Arundel County Police have charged a Washington, D.C. man with a murder and robbery that took place in Laurel in June.
Brandon Anthony Holmes, 28, has been charged with first- and second- degree murder, two counts each of first- and second- degree assault, two counts of armed robbery and other charges for his connection in the death of 19-year-old Dalan Plummer, who died in Shock Trauma after being shot, police said.
Police were called to the Knights Inn at 3380 Laurel Fort Meade Road around 3 p.m. on June 25, where the found Plummer with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Plummer was transported to Shock Trauma for treatment. He died July 3.
Police said Plummer was approached by two black men, and one man had a handgun and shot Plummer.
During investigation, the public provided Anne Arundel County police with several tips that lead to identifying Holmes as one of the suspects.
Police said that Holmes’ location is still unknown. Police also do not have an identity of the second suspect, a black man with a gray shirt and short hair.
Police are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in the shooting death of Plummer.
