Annapolis toy store robbed at gunpoint, suspect wanted

ANNAPOLIS, Md.  — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for a man who robbed an Annapolis toy store at gunpoint on Thursday.

According to police, an armed man walked into Franklin's Toys at 2327 Forest Drive around 1:55 p.m. and demanded cash from the register.

The employee reportedly gave the man the money and the suspect ran away.

The suspect is described as a man in his early 60’s, with an unshaven beard, glasses, average height and weight, wearing dark clothing.

Officers searched the are but were unable to find the suspect. Police say the store employee was the only person inside the store during the robbery.

No injuries were reported.
