GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police arrested a 33-year-old man for breaking into and stealing from vehicles.

On Tuesday, at around 3:50 a.m., an officer was on patrol in the 6300 block of Ritchie Highway when he saw a male suspect enter a unoccupied parked vehicle in the back of a Denny's restaurant parking lot.

The suspect was seen rummaging through the vehicle and was also recognized as a suspect in two earlier theft from auto cases, for which he had outstanding warrants.

The officer arrested the suspect, who has been identified as 33-year-old Jacob Allen Lowe, after realizing that the vehicle did not belong to him.

Police later discovered that Lowe was also in possession of a smoking device that contained suspected crack cocaine residue.

Officials say that Lowe has been charged with Rogue and Vagabond and Possession CDS Paraphernalia.
