In order to meet the needs of the community, Klein's ShopRite of Maryland has decided to dedicate specific checkout registers for high-risk and elderly customers, age 65 and over in their stores.

They are asking customers to use their best discretion when determining for themselves whether or not they are considered "high risk".

"We are operating these special registers under the honor system and appreciate the community's understanding and respect in order to provide the safest environment for our most vulnerable customers," the company said in their Facebook post. "Please consult CDC guidelines and speak to your doctor for personal guidance."
