BALTIMORE — Just 48 hours after announcing that he was shutting down some businesses and indoor and outdoor dining at restaurants, Brandon Scott held his second COVID-19 update as Baltimore Mayor.

Scott was joined by three local restaurant owners affected by the order; Gregory Brown, co-owner of Land of Kush; Samantha Claassen, owner of Golden West Café; and Terrence Dickson, owner of Terra Café.

Each spoke briefly and shared ways the community can help support local businesses struggling during the pandemic, such as ordering carry-out and delivery.

Scott also mentioned the start of a new COVID-19 testing site at the Zeta Center for Healthy and Active Aging.

Testing is available there from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
