More than 600,000 people around the world have recovered from coronavirus

As of Sunday, April 19, more than 600,000 people around the world have won the fight against COVID-19.

According to data from Johns Hopkins University's Coronavirus Resource Center, 611,159 people have recovered from COVID-19.

The data shows that most of the recoveries were in Germany, where 88,000 have recovered from the virus.

In the United States, there have been over 67,000 recoveries. The U.S. has reported the most positive cases nationwide at more than 700,000.

Maryland currently has 12,830 confirmed cases of the virus.
