A member of the Maryland Army National Guard has tested positive for COVID-19.

Officials say the soldier is in isolation and there's about 20 additional soldiers in the unit that are being quarantined as a precaution.

Officials say military medical personnel and leaders are taking precautions to protect other Maryland National Guard members and Marylanders by cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
