Loyola University discontinuing face-to-face instruction beginning Wednesday

BALTIMORE — Loyola University is discontinuing face-to-face instruction due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Loyola says it will go from March 11 through March 31. Beginning with the start of classes on Wednesday, March 18, faculty will teach their classes online or electronically. Existing online courses will continue uninterrupted.

The University plans to resume classes on Wednesday, April 1. All residence halls are closing on Friday, March 13, at noon. Students are to return home as soon as possible.

The University will remain open, and employees should report as scheduled.
