MOUNT VERNON, Md. — Businesses are stepping up to help those in need across the region as coronavirus continues to spread.

On Friday, Hotel Revival in Mount Vernon handed out five-hundred bagged lunches. Each bag had a sandwich, chips. fruit, a cookie and a bottled water.

"I think in these times we have to think about how we can be a good neighbor and as a business, our hotel is always been very community oriented and so, these are the moments where we get to really live those and it gets to make a difference for people," said Donte Johnson, General Manager Hotel Revival

All the food was provided by the hotel’s rooftop restaurant topside and coastal sunbelt produce.
