BALTIMORE — The President and CEO of GBMC confirmed in a taped message that two patients have tested positive for COVID-19 at GBMC.
He said they are both home and recuperating and other individuals have results that are pending.
In a statement he says:
As President and CEO of the GBMC HealthCare System, it is critical for me to update you on the COVID-19 situation at GBMC. I recorded a short video message so you can learn more about where we are as on March 19, 2020.
Thank you to the emergency preparedness team, doctors, nurses, and the entire GBMC HealthCare workforce for your dedication to providing the care we would want for our own loved ones. I am so proud of your response to the pandemic. To our community, we are grateful that you are heeding the advice of medical experts and elected leadership.
