BALTIMORE — Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital and its community partners joined forces to distribute food and other much needed items in Park Heights.
They've already provided more than 20,000 pounds of produce and more than 1,500 diapers to residents.
The hospital is also collecting and distributing adult and children's masks.
"We noticed that 85% of the kids that are coming to different community events and food pantries just aren’t wearing masks and they're a vulnerable population so we really wanted to make sure that they're protected if there is a second wave of this virus that hits we want to make sure that our children are protected."
The event also featured a health table with information on COVID-19 prevention.
