BALTIMORE — Today, students and staff at public schools in Baltimore City are no longer required to wear face coverings inside.

The city school system is the among the last in Maryland to make masks optional.

Masks are still required to be worn for 10 days if a person has close contact with someone who has Covid-19, is recovering from the virus after isolating or develops symptoms while at school.
