A Baltimore County woman returned to her home in Parkville, only to find her valuables missing and her pet turtle dead on the floor.

Police believe two suspects got into her house on Barnwell Court through an unsecured ground floor window at some point during the night between January 20-21. They stole electronic devices, two TVs, gift cards, checks and jewelry.

Before they left, one of the suspects grabbed Donatella the turtle from her aquarium and stabbed her with a knife-sharpener.

Calvin Fogg, 24, was arrested in connection to the burglary on February 17th.

Police believe the second suspect, Michael Jones, 23, is the person who killed Donatella. Jones was taken into custody Tuesday in connection with multiple burglaries, a home invasion robbery, and aggravated cruelty to kill an animal.

A citizen saw Jones walking in the 1300 block of North Milton Street Tuesday morning and contacted police.
