Severe thunderstorm, flash flood watches in effect in Md.

There are several severe weather alerts in effect around Maryland.

A severe thunderstorm watch, severe thunderstorm warning and flash flood watch have all been issued for parts of the state.

Anne Arundel, Carroll, Cecil, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Queen Anne's counties, Baltimore County and Baltimore City as well as Talbot County, Kent and Caroline counties are all under a severe thunderstorm watch until midnight.

FORECAST: Heat Set to Break, Possible Gusty T'Storms

A flash flood watch in also in effect for eastern and central Maryland into Friday. Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's, Talbot and Caroline counties are under the flash flood watch until 12 p.m. Friday.

Frederick and Carroll counties are under the flash flood watch until 11 a.m. Friday.

A severe thunderstorm warning was also issued for Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties until 6 p.m. A similar warning was issued for Harford and Baltimore County, but that expired at 3:45 p.m.
