An Edgewood man charged in the death of his girlfriend's 3-month-old son is now in custody, police say.
Police were looking for Keith D. Griffin after he and his girlfriend, Aja Terry, left town following the infant's death.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office got a tip about where Griffin might be and around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, he was taken into custody at a home in Elkton.
Griffin and Terry are charged with first-degree homicide, first-degree child abuse and first-degree assault in the death of her infant son and injuries to his twin brother.
Investigation into 3-month-old Aaman Perez's death began on Dec. 16. Griffin called 911 and reported the baby was choking at their home in the 1800 block of Eloise Lane. Perez died at the hospital. His twin brother was also injured, police said.
