The way you ride public transportation is changing. The administrator of the Maryland Department of Transportation's MTA chatted with In Focus Anchor Jamie Costello about BaltimoreLink.
"The one mode, which has the most people ride it is bus, and it's performing the worst," said Paul Comfort. "And basically, it's broken. The route system needed to be restructured to take people where they want to go today."
380,000 people use the MTA every day, and it needs a big upgrade. That's where Baltimore Link comes in.
"It's changing the routes so they all don't go downtown, it opens up the grid, it goes more around the city and takes them out to where the jobs are today."
