Paramedics requested a Maryland State Police helicopter which landed near the scene in Waysons Corner. The biker is facing critical and possibly life-threatening injuries.

Saturday, a crew responded to a reported injured person following an ATV accident and found the ATV rider. Fighters said the operator was a 13-year-old male, who was taken to the trauma center at Children’s National with serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

On March 31, firefighters were called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision with a vehicle on fire and an occupant trapped. There, the crew found a minivan, which left the roadway and struck a highway sign post.

The vehicle engine compartment and front portion of the passenger compartment caught fire. The 42-year-old female driver, the car's lone occupant, was removed from the vehicle by Anne Arundel County Police Officers before the arrival of the fire department.
