June is National Safety Month, focusing on reducing the leading causes of injuries at home, work, and on the road.
Many people think of safety when doing large tasks like driving or playing sports, but small tasks can also have consequences. Defective products are a major cause of accidents. Defective products is one that causes injury to someone due to a design, manufacturing, or marketing defect. Many active duty members of the military and veterans has permanent hearing loss due to defective earplugs.
If you believe you have a defective product, stop using it immediately. Check the US Consumer Product Safety Administration website to either search for or report a defective product.
