Paralyzed Veterans of America is a congressionally-chartered veterans service organization that was founded in 1946. Members are veterans with spinal cord injuries and diseases, and programs support all veterans, spouses and caregivers. PVA programs include healthcare advocacy, benefit support, job support, sports and recreation programs and architecture programs that improve accessibility.

Donations to Weis go directly to PVA to ensure that veterans are receiving the care they need. Donations also support benefits staff locally as they help vets receive benefits they’ve earned. In addition, PVA also works to support job-seeking veterans, popular sports and rec programs, and an architecture program that ensures that the world is accessible to vets and all of those with disabilities.
