The 13th Annual Weis Markets Fight Hunger Campaign is happening now.
Food insecurity has nearly doubled since the COVID-19 pandemic started, and more Marylanders than ever aren't sure where their next meal will come from. The Maryland Food Bank gives out millions of pounds of food a week.
Weis makes it easy to donate. At the register, round up your order to the next dollar or buy a voucher. You can also donate online.
While the initiative usually happens in the fall, Weis made the decision to move it up to help as many people as possible. The campaign will also run for six weeks instead of its normal four.
