The Smithsonian’s Water/Ways traveling exhibition dives into water--an essential component of life on our planet, environmentally, culturally, and historically.

Maryland Humanities is bringing the exhibit to six sites around the state, beginning with the Historical Society of Baltimore County (HSBC), located inside the historic Almshouse in Cockeysville. The exhibit will be free and open to the public now through July 6th. HSBC's companion exhibit about our local water story will feature a film made by students at Lansdowne High School. With the help of over 30 partner organizations there will be over 70 public events, complementary exhibits, and educational programs in support of Water/Ways.
