The Good Feet Store- Pushing Through Fear

Posted

Athletes put their bodies through so much, and The Good Feet Store can help with pain or discomfort brought on by an active lifestyle.

The Good Feet Store works with organizations like TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) to help their members feel more empowered. Linda Ambard is a friend of the Good Feet Store as well as TAPS. After her husband was killed in action in 2011, the mother of five turned to running as an outlet for her grief, only to find herself running the Boston Marathon in 2013, just blocks away from the finish line when the bombs went off. After seeking shelter, Linda knew it was time to leave her fear behind.

Linda is currently training for her 219th marathon in Antarctica, after completing marathons on the other six continents. She credits The Good Feet Store with helping her body stay in shape, which helps her mental and spiritual stamina as well.
