Special Beginnings Birth and Women's Center offers women the confidence and knowledge to make their birthing experience special.
The certified nurse midwives at Special Beginnings get to know each patient, spending at least an hour with them at initial appointments and thirty minutes at follow up visits.
The center features several home-like rooms with soothing decor and a full private bathroom. Labor options include movement, position changes, eating and drinking, and welcoming as many family and friends as wanted into the room. Older siblings are also welcome! Special Beginnings also offers water birth and other delivery options. The center is affiliated with Anne Arundel Medical Center if hospital interventions are necessary.
