Green Spring Station is honoring the women and non-profits who are giving back to the community through the She Inspires initiative.

Heather Hartley got involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities after her son Mick was born a rare disease of the colon which required immediate medical attention.

After multiple surgeries and complications, the Hartleys made the difficult decision to seek medical treatment out-of-state and utilize Ronald McDonald House services. Mick fell in love with the Ronald statues that first trip, and four years and six trips later, that love is still going strong.

RMH not only provides families with resources like a room and meals, more importantly they provide community, love and acceptance to kids and families who may not find that anywhere else.

RMH recently opened a brand new 60,000 square foot RMH in Baltimore. The new house serves 54 families each and every night. The entire operating budget is raised locally.
