Delegate CT Wilson of Charles County is sponsoring an unopposed bill to help keep kids safe in schools.
The S.E.S.A.M.E Bill adds another layer to the normal background checks school employees go through. The bill allows schools access to accusations or previous disciplinary action against an applicant for sexual abuse or assault. Several other states have passed similar bills, including Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
