Pulmonary Fibrosis is progressive, debilitating lung disease with no known cure. Over time, PF can destroy the normal lung and make it hard for oxygen to get into the blood.
More than 80% of people recently surveyed have never heard of the disease, but with 50,000 diagnosed annually it's important that people recognize the signs and symptoms. PF is characterized but a dry, persistent, chronic cough along with breathlessness, fatigue, chest discomfort, and loss of appetite.
There are FDA approved medications and therapies than can slow the progression of PF.
