Moveable Feast's 17th Ride for the Feast fundraiser benefiting Moveable Feast takes place May 11-12. The 140-mile journey from Maryland’s Eastern Shore to Moveable Feast headquarters in Baltimore City is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, with 100% of the proceeds raised going directly back into the services they provide to their clients.
New this year, Moveable Feast has added "Spin for the Feast" with Brick Bodies – a 100-minute spin challenge on May 11, one minute for each mile those riding on bikes will take that day.
Moveable Feast prepares and delivers nutritious meals and groceries and provides nutritional counseling and other services to those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. Last year, Moveable Feast delivered over 700,00 meals to more than 6,000 neighbors in need. Moveable Feast is the only organization of its kind in Maryland, serving Baltimore City, the five surrounding counties and, as of 2000, the entire Eastern Shore of Maryland.
