We all know spaying and neutering our pets is important, but the Maryland SPCA wants adopters to know why.

Spaying and neutering helps control the pet population, but it can also reduce the risk of cancer in dogs.

At the MDSPCA, all dogs are fixed prior to adoption. The shelter helps each family find the perfect animal for them, like Carmelo, a five year old chihuahua who loves being held.
