It's a great time for a new kitten! Besides being adorable, kittens are fun, energetic, and playful.
You can adopt a cat or kitten from the Maryland SPCA as they continue with virtual adoptions. Once you apply for a pet, the SPCA will so a Zoom interview with you and the pet, and contactless pick up will be arranged.
Once you have your new kitten home, keep them in their own space as they adjust. A small bedroom or bathroom stocked with litter, food, water, and toys is best.
