Since the start of the pandemic, Maryland’s restaurant and food service industry has lost approximately $1.4 billion in sales and has seen as many as 150,000 restaurant employees laid off or furloughed.
In partnership with Visit Maryland, the Restaurant Association of Maryland is presenting Maryland Restaurant Week from September 18-27. The week is similar to those held by counties and cities around the state with several restaurants offering specials on their signature dishes. Guests can dine in, order carryout, or do curbside pickup where available.
