Since launching in September, Lit Buddies has helped more than 1,000 children get access to more books, literacy resources, and discover greater possibilities for their life through reading.
Each box contains a new book along with a toy, craft, and other items designed to help kids have fun and learn at the same time.
Former Baltimore Ravens player Brandon Carr, creator of Lit Buddies Box, will kick off a virtual read along program with his 6-year-old son, Ace. The pair will read a book together live on Instagram each week on Wednesdays through May 13 to promote children’s literacy and encourage families to read together.
