Ken Liu was born in China and moved to the United States when he was eleven. Harvard educated, Liu studied computer science and became an engineer at Microsoft. He eventually returned to Harvard to earn a law degree.
Ken infuses his experiences with technology, law, and traditional Chinese upbringing to craft intricate science fiction and magical realism stories.
A winner of every major science fiction award including Nebula, Hugo, Locus and more, Liu is one of the most celebrated speculative fiction short story authors publishing today. His newest release, The Cleaners, is currently being developed into an Amazon series by executive producer Orlando Bloom.
